HSC Email Migration

WVU ITS and HSC ITS are working together to rebuild Active Directory (AD), which determines what resources faculty and staff can access based on their roles at the University. This project will give HSC more independence on system changes and updates. Generally, project changes will occur behind the scenes and with no disruption to your team’s productivity. However, you will be notified in advance of any work that is likely to result in either an outage or a change in the way your team uses the technology.

Once we finalize your team’s Microsoft migration date, we will notify all affected employees individually and send a reminder 24 hours before the move. However, we encourage you to remind them as well.

With HSC Microsoft 365, the main change you will see is where you log in when using Outlook Web Access. Instead of using office365.hsc.wvu.edu, you will log in at office.com after your department is migrated to the new system. If you launch Outlook from the client installed on your computer, rather than the web app, you won’t see any changes.

Users will need to clear their browsing data before the new email login will work. Follow the instructions below.
