Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

  • Identifies quality assurance program components, recommends QA plan including objectives, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for monitoring, reporting, and correcting problems.
  • Maintains I.T. Services Disaster Recovery Plan. Ensures that it is exercised on a consistent basis and coordinate each occurrence. Keeps users and supporting departments up to date with news, changes, reminders, and more.
  • Coordinates audits and quality assurance requests from UHA, HSC, & WVU including, but not limited to, coordinating with Administration in preparation of preliminary materials, meeting with entities, gathering data, providing documentation, defining and implementing resolutions, and more.
  • Develops and administers I.T customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Develops and coordinates I.T. Services performance measures and benchmarks.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for HSC computer systems and networks.
  • Works to ensure the productivity, reliability, security, and accuracy of computer systems at the Health Sciences Center.
  • Works with developers, technicians, and engineers to enhance the overall QA process of all systems at all system life-cycle stages including development, testing, and production systems.
  • Reviews existing practices for Change Control and establish consistent policy across all units.
  • Reviews and implements best practice procedures for computing systems at HSC.
  • Identifies and develops Service Level Agreements between customer and IT Services department where applicable.
