MacBook Air Basic Training
Kaity Amador, Apple student campus representative, will be onsite at the HSC to conduct 1 hour MacBook Basic Training for interested students and faculty starting July through September. See schedule and details of training here. Bring your MacBook to the training session if you have one.

5. iCloud & Time Machine
Set up iCloud for the first time:
On your Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click iCloud, enter your Apple ID and password, then turn on the features you want to use.
Time Machine
Open Time Machine preferences from the Time Machine menu in the menu bar. Or choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click Time Machine.
Click Select Backup Disk (or Select Disk, or Add or Remove Backup Disk):
Select your external drive from the list of available disks. Then select ”Encrypt backups” (recommended) and click Use Disk.
