New version of SOLE Lockdown Browser will be available starting Thursday evening, Feb. 22

The new version of SOLE Lockdown Browser will be available after 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Instructors and students participating in the Health Sciences laptop program are encouraged to upgrade your computers to the new version of the SOLE Lockdown Browser.

You may visit the SOLE Support website and download the update at your convenience after 5 p.m. Thursday. Alternatively, you may update from within SOLE when you encounter a Lockdown Browser exam. However, please be aware that the update could take up to a minute and could require a reboot of your computer if you encounter an issue.

Older versions of SOLE LockDown browser will continue to work through the end of the spring semester. Once dates are determined, ITS will announce when older versions will be decommissioned.
